Watch: Ben Carson SCHOOLS Dems Who Refuse To Say ISIS Is Islamic With One Hard Fact

On Hannity Monday night, Ben Carson called out President Obama and the Democratic presidential candidates for their refusal to link Islam with terrorism.

“I find it interesting that, you know, they’re willing to use the term ‘ISIS’ because the I in ISIS is Islamic,” Carson told the Fox News host. “And so, they’re not really being very consistent. But obviously, the terrorism that’s growing, and spreading around the world, is coming from that base…”

At a press conference in Turkey on Monday, President Obama said, “ISIL does not represent Islam. It is not representative in any way of the attitudes of the overwhelming majority of Muslims.” Obama expounded that “the most vicious terrorist organizations at the moment are ones that claim to be speaking on behalf of true Muslims.”

Hillary Clinton made similar points at the Democrat presidential debate on Saturday night stating, “I don’t think we’re at war with Islam. I don’t think we are at war with all Muslims, I think we are at war with jihadists.” She added, “We are not at war with Islam or Muslims. We are at war with violent extremism.”

Fellow Democrat candidates Sen. Bernie Sanders and former Maryland Gov. Martin O’Malley also refused to directly link Islam with terrorism.

Carson disagreed telling Hannity, Islam’s earliest beliefs and practices devalued the lives of non-Muslims. He pointed out that Mohammed assembled an army, “and they went around, and they killed people, who didn’t believe as they did.”

The former neurosurgeon explained: “Anybody who didn’t accept all of their tenets belonged to something they called the kafir, and you could do anything to them, you could kill them, behead them, you could lie to them, and that underlying belief is still there with the radical element of the Islamic movement.”

Carson offered the best solution as being to “encourage the imams and the clerics, to come out, and condemn the radical elements of that faith.”

Since the Paris attacks, the candidate has come out against the resettlement of Syrian refugees in the United States. In a letter to House Speaker Paul Ryan, Carson urged congressional Republicans to “extinguish” Syrian resettlement programs, saying the United States “cannot, should not and must not accept any Syrian refugees,” the Associate Press reports.

When Hannity asked Carson if he thought ISIS would try to infiltrate into the U.S. by way of the refugee program, the candidate replied, “of course they will.” He elaborated:

You have a wonderful vehicle allowing you to get these radical elements right in the midst of America. Of course they’re going to do that. At some point, we have to use something called common sense. I think that is one of the things the American people are so frustrated by. We have these politicians, and they seem to have completely lost track with rational thought processes.

According to the AP, Obama on Monday chided Republicans for imposing a ‘religious test’ on people fleeing war. “That’s not American. That’s not who we are,’ the president said.”

Do you believe Syrian war…
