Following Show Vote, House Republicans Warn Ryan: Reject Obama’s Refugee Funding Request

"The Senate May"

“The Senate May”

Editor’s Note: Watch and take note.  This IS the proper, constitutional approach, to DEFUND unconstitutional programs, step two should be to repeal it.  The question is, is this a ploy to make it look like Congress is doing the right thing or is it a serious effort?  For those now thinking “yes but Obama will just veto it” let me restate… CONSTITUTIONALLY the U.S. House has exclusive right to budget, the budget IS NOT A LAW and the President has not AUTHORITY under the Constitution to veto a budget passed by the “People’s House.”  The Senate MAY propose or concur with amendment, but if the Senate does not PASS something the House Budget is the budget.

Following Speaker Rep. Paul Ryan’s “show-vote” on the nation’s resettlement of Syrian refugees, House conservative lawmakers are demanding that Ryan take sincere action by denying the President funds to refugee resettlement in the year-end funding bill. On Thursday, Rep. Walter Jones’ office put out a statement explaining that Jones “rejects show vote on refugees” because the legislation would do nothing to cut off the funding for President Barack Obama’s plan to import tens of thousands of Middle Eastern refugees into the U.S.” In the release, Jones states, “Defunding President Obama’s refugee program is the only way to ensure there is an actual halt to a refugee influx until we can determine without question that we are not giving terrorists a free pass into the United States even if today’s bill were signed into law, the President would still retain the power to let in whoever, and however many, refugees he pleases.”

Ryan, however, has left the door wide open to approving the President’s annual request for refugee funding “which expires on December 11th. This would give the President the necessary funding to resettle refugees from all over the world into the United States“ who, upon arrival, would become instantly eligible for all federal benefits.

Walter Jones NC has been one of the few on the side of the citizens and the rule of law unlike Renee Elmers NC, who works for The Cheap Labor Express.

Nothing seems to stop the uniparty. Ryan needs to understand that if he sells out the country, he will be personally held accountable for those that he gets killed.

Ryan better…

if the watchman sees the sword coming and does not blow the trumpet, and the people are not warned, and the sword comes and takes any person from among them, he is taken away in his iniquity; but his blood I will require at the watchman’s hand.
