Watch: Fox News Host Just Revealed What May Be The ONLY Answer To Terrorism In The US

On a commentary on The Five on Wednesday Fox News’ Greg Gutfeld said the only answer for combating terror attacks on U.S. soil is an armed citizenry.

The co-host argued that it is simply not possible to “harden every soft target.” That being the case, “If we can’t protect everyone, then it’s up to us to protect ourselves,” he said.

The terrorists in Paris specifically targeted soft targets, seeking to inflict the most carnage and succeeding at killing 129 innocents.

Co-host Eric Bolling agreed adding, “Gun free zones are the softest targets.”

Gutfeld also contended that “we must harden more than targets, but also our memories.” He suggested, “We need a reenactment of heroism to teach the young its value. A Flight 93 day…when citizens did what the government couldn’t do, saving countless lives as they lost theirs.”

As reported by Western Journalism, former Al Qaeda terrorist and CIA double agent Morten Storm told Fox News, “I believe that within the next two weeks, we will have an attack.” He added that their targets will likely be soft targets like shopping malls.

Dana Perino noted that European officials are not calling for new gun control legislation addressing the types of weapons used by the terrorists in Paris. Gutfeld expressed his doubts about how effective such laws would be. “When terrorist see that they say, ‘That’s it. Not buying any guns. They’ve tightened the gun control, we’re not getting guns,’” which drew laughs even from liberal co-host Juan Williams.

The two were not laughing during another segment of Wednesday’s show when Williams accused Gutfeld and Republicans of xenophobia for wanting to keep out Syrian Muslim refugees. “Perhaps if we told the president that ISIS had a high carbon footprint, he would hate ISIS more than he hates Republicans,” Gutfeld said.

“I don’t understand why Republican candidates are stirring up fear and xenophobia in the United States,” Williams responded.

“You just proved my point. If you are concerned about your loved ones, that’s not xenophobia,” Gutfeld shot back. “President Obama insulted every American who is worrying about their child and their spouse that is going to work every day,” he added.

Obama mocked Republicans at a press conference in the Philippines on Wednesday saying, “Apparently they are scared of widows and orphans coming into the United States of America. At first, they were too scared of the press being too tough on them in the debates. Now they are scared of three year old orphans. That doesn’t seem so tough to me.”
