Dakota Meyer knows ISIS is coming. He and his friends are ready.
“If ISIS show up here, we will crush them,” he said Sunday on Fox and Friends.
Meyer, a Congressional Medal of Honor recipient, said that in the aftermath of Friday’s Parris terrorist attacks, Americans should wake up to the fact that ISIS will seek to attack America.
“It’s going to happen. If you’re one of these people in America who are sitting behind closed doors or thinking that you’ve got enough money that ISIS won’t bother you. Or you think that you’ve got a point to prove across America that ISIS won’t bother you, look, ISIS discriminates against no one,” he said.
“They will kill everyone,” he warned.
Both on Fox and Friends and in a follow-up Facebook post, Meyer said America needs strong leadership to defeat ISIS.
“How many people will it take to die on our soil before we do something? The next big decision we’re all going to have is who are we going to put in as Commander-in-Chief that’s willing to do it?” he said Sunday.
“My greatest concern is that it would take numerous attacks from ISIS on US soil like the ones occurring in Paris just recently before we even acknowledge that it’s even ISIS committing them,” he posted on Facebook.
“With people in office like Pres. Obama who refuse to call this problem what it is and people running like Bernie Sanders who state that global warming is a more imminent problem than ISIS. I fear this country’s leadership may not come to terms with the problem at hand until us as citizens have already started fighting back,” he posted.
Meyer said the fight for America requires all Americans to defend their nation.
“If you’re not willing to stand for your country against these animals you don’t deserve the right to live here,” he said on Facebook.
