In response to House Speaker Rep. Paul Ryan announcing this Tuesday that Republicans had reached a deal with Democrats on an omnibus bill that effectively funds every single one of President Barack Obama’s programs, Sen. Jeff Sessions released a statement slamming Ryan and his crony pals for their blatant “betrayal.”
“As feared, the effect is to fund the President’s entire immigration agenda,” he said. “That loyalty [that led Americans to vote Republicans to the majority in Congress last year] has been repaid with betrayal“:
There is a reason that GOP voters are in open rebellion. They have come to believe that their party’s elites are not only uninterested in defending their interests but — as with this legislation, and fast-tracking the President’s international trade pact — openly hostile to them.
This legislation represents a further disenfranchisement of the American voter.
According to Breitbart, the betrayal Sessions mentioned comes in three primary forms:
The Omnibus Bill Blesses Illegal Immigrants
Paul Ryan’s omnibus bill “contains no language that would prohibit the use of funds to continue” President Barack Obama’s Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program, which as a reminder allows illegal immigrants who entered into the U.S. before the age of 16 to receive work permits and tax credits, as well as access to certain entitlement programs.
The bill also “funds various grant programs for the Department of Justice and contains no language that would restrict the provision of such grants to sanctuary jurisdictions.”
Last but not least, the bill allocates zero funds toward our much-needed border wall.
The Omnibus Bill Blesses Refugees And Foreign Workers
Ryan’s omnibus bill fully funds President Obama’s Syrian refugee resettlement program and does nothing to stop the exploitation of immigration and visa programs by radical Islamic terrorists such as San Bernardino shooter Tashfeen Malik.
Even worse, it expands the H-2B visa program by quadrupling “the number of H-2B visas for unskilled guest workers, for a total of more than 250,000.”
The Omnibus Bill Increases Overall Spending
Paul Ryan’s “betrayal” of a bill also increases total spending by $50 billion, meaning more unnecessary spending and thus more debt.
Bing, bang, boom … and just like that, our newest House Speaker sold out the entire country in favor of illegal immigrants, refugees and of course Barack Hussein Obama.
Do you feel proud of yourself, Mr. Ryan?
