Comedian Jerry Lewis Excoriates Obama’s Handling of ISIS; Tells ‘Refugees’ Where to Go!

Legendary comedian Jerry Lewis may have played a lovable and hilarious dunce in some of his movies like the original “Nutty Professor,” but the longtime fundraiser to stop the disease of muscular dystrophy is no dummy in real life.

In an interview last week with Raymond Arroyo on World Over, Jerry Lewis blasted Obama for not having the will to stop ISIS. Lewis told Arroyo that we should be coordinating with other NATO members to “wipe them out.”

“I’m wondering where are all of our NATO allies. Why don’t I have Germany and Italy and Great Britain; why do I [not] have all of them, including Spain, doing something?  Get all of your military together, bring that military to our military to wipe them out,” Lewis said.

Lewis said that ISIS is basically begging to be stopped, but all we’re doing is watching them proceed with their acts of terror around the world.

“They’re asking to be stopped and we’re not stopping them; we’re just reporting what they’re doing. It’s ridiculous!”

“And what do you think of the refugees?” Arroyo asked Lewis.

“The refugees should stay where the hell they are,” Lewis hollered back.

“They say there’s a humanitarian crisis — they’re fleeing — they have to come to America,” Arroyo interjected.

Lewis answered that the risks are too high:

“Hey, nobody has worked harder for the human condition than I have, but they’re not part of the human condition. If 11 guys in that group of ten thousand are ISIS, how can I take the chance?”

Jerry Lewis then took a shot at Obama’s “leadership.”

“What I’m watching in him [Obama] is uncertainty, and you don’t have uncertainty in a leader. A leader doesn’t give a sh*t what he does, but he gets things done,” Lewis contended.

When asked about the political phenomenon of the rise of Donald Trump, Lewis told Arroyo that he thought he was “great” because he’s a “showman,” and that we really haven’t had one of those in the White House.

When Arroyo tried to make a comparison between Trump and the late, great conservative President Ronald Reagan, who was an actor before entering politics as the Governor of California, Lewis rejected the comparison.

“Well, that’s different. You can’t make a comparison with Ronald Reagan. Because I could do three hours on him with just praise — he was so good.”

It’s wonderful to see Jerry Lewis, so sharp and articulate, even at the age of 89, and seemingly in good health. Hopefully, we’ll get to hear more of his political views in the future.
