Another Shaun King Insight: Black Men Have Schlongs

Apparently thinking he came up with some new groundbreaking argument that the Founding Fathers supported slavery, King hastens to say that, “This is essential to understand because it was these same men who left out the word ‘white’ when they wrote ‘all men are created equal.’ While the founders and generations of lawmakers were fully aware that black men had penises — they were male of course — nothing about being a black man in colonial America made you a truly equal human being under the law.”

How did this even get published? It is gratuitous and ignorant.

Having a penis does not make you a man. Horses have penises. So do dogs. Contrary to what King implies, the Founders did not consider black males to be men. They considered them somewhere between man and beast.

Speaking from personal experience, Daily News opinion pieces are normally carefully edited. The editor for these articles made the writer substantiate anything that was not widely known. Outlandish and rude lines were excised quicker than foreskin at a bris.

But King, an affirmative action hire, seems to be held to far less exacting standards.

Regardless, King should have included a trigger warning when he started talking about black phalluses.

Media Matters founder David Brock just accused Donald Trump of racism for saying Barack Obama “schlonged” Hillary Clinton in 2008. Apparently, anybody white who mentions penises and black males in the same sentences is sending out a racist dog whistle.

But black writers who get all cocky are offering trenchant social insights? Yup.

As King’s hearty band of race-baiting cop haters might say, black johnsons matter!

if the watchman sees the sword coming and does not blow the trumpet, and the people are not warned, and the sword comes and takes any person from among them, he is taken away in his iniquity; but his blood I will require at the watchman’s hand.
