Via Kimberly Morin:

Homeland Security is going to help you survive an encounter with an active shooter.

They’ve funded a video that tells you all the things you can do to survive an attack like the Islamic Jihadist attack that just happened in San Bernardino.

HINT: They never assume any of you would be smart enough to own a firearm to protect yourself and therefore STOP the attack.

They want you to run, hide or fight back with generic things you find around your office.

run

Maybe a post-it note will work?

From IJReview:

The Department of Homeland Security recently funded a video to help people in disaster situations. It is now the most-viewed active shooter preparation video on YouTube, and is featured on the FBI website, local government and law enforcement sites, and even college sites from across the country.

But is it helpful? Well, see for yourself.

The video delivers a three-step tutorial on how to survive if a shooter comes into your workplace.

Of course, had anyone been carrying concealed in their scenario, the shooter would have been dead before killing anymore people.

But of course Homeland Security assumes that all Americans refuse to protect themselves.

Interesting this video was made by the city of Houston, Texas where y’all would assume the people have firearms and believe in protecting themselves.

if the watchman sees the sword coming and does not blow the trumpet, and the people are not warned, and the sword comes and takes any person from among them, he is taken away in his iniquity; but his blood I will require at the watchman’s hand.
