Watch: Man Rushes To Car After Crash And What He Did Next Was Caught On Camera

When a man rushed toward the scene of an auto crash earlier this month in Philadelphia, his intention was not to assist the injured driver involved. In fact, police say the suspect – described as a bearded, roughly 30-year-old black man – added to the motorist’s plight by beating and robbing him.

A video of the violent encounter showed the suspect rush to the damaged vehicle, punch the driver repeatedly and search through the car’s contents, making off with an iPhone and tablet computer. Seen in the clip wearing a hooded jacket, the man attacks his victim from one side of the car to the other, incapacitating him enough to stick around to look for valuables.

As the two take the fight outside of the car through the passenger-side door, a dog jumps in to take a quick look around.
