Liberal Commentator Posts Despicable Tweet About Oregon Militiamen

Liberal commentator Jonathan Chait, who currently writes for New York magazine but previously served as senior editor at The New Republic, posted a despicable tweet this Sunday in which he insinuated that he wants to see the militiamen in Oregon be killed.

I talked to Ryan Bundy on the phone again. He said they’re willing to kill and be killed if necessary. #OregonUnderAttack

Do we get to vote on this? Because I’m voting for #2

See what happened there?

Now imagine what might occur if a conservative political commentator were to say anything even remotely similar about “Black Lives Matter” protesters. Heck, even President Barack Obama would likely get involved and make a statement of some kind.

Yet in this case, because the militiamen happen to be white, it is perfectly okay to ostensibly say that you want to see them be killed?

Does anyone else see something wrong with this?
This is not meant to serve as a defense of these militiamen or the ranchers they want to protect, but rather as an indictment of the liberal mainstream media, whose hypocrisy runs thicker than ever.

Cue Breitbart’s John Nolte:

Had Chait said the exact same thing about a group of protesters equally reprehensible to the Bundy clam, say the barbarians who burnt down Baltimore and Ferguson, he would be out of a job today, because those protesters are on the DC Media’s “approved” list.

Exactly. And since Chait is part of the DC Media, and since the militiamen are not on the media’s “approved” list, he gets the luxury of being able to spew whatever foul garbage he wants.

How convenient …
