“Obama was against gay marriage. Hillary Clinton was against gay marriage. Is that correct?” he said.

Jenner’s friends noted that Obama and Clinton would later change their opinions. The video also shows one of Jenner’s friends telling another, “This is why you can’t talk politics at the dinner table or on a bus!”

Talk went from the political to the personal. One friend asked Jenner if he considered himself a lesbian.

“To be honest with you, I don’t see myself dating women in the future,” Jenner replied candidly. “I’ve been there, done that, got three ex-wives.”

“So now you can have an ex-husband!” one of Jenner’s friends then exclaims.

The conversation also captures Jenner in a reflective mood.

“Sometimes I feel like I’ve thrown old Bruce out the door. Maybe he didn’t deserve to be gone…” he said.

During a Television Critics Association tour Thursday in Pasadena, Calif., Jenner said he planned to remain a Republican.

“Well, I really don’t want to heavily get into politics because, certainly, we have enough politics going on in the United States right now. But as I tell the girls, it’s kind of good,” he said. “Certainly the Democrats have been better on this issue … Isn’t it good that they have an ally, somebody on the team that can go in there and maybe change (Republicans’) minds? That’s a good thing. That’s kind of the way I look at it.”
