AUDIO: Donald Trump Caught in Major Lie Over Iraq War Support

Editor: Remember… THE GOP HAS THE POWER TODAY to defund Obamacare and HAS NOT.  Their mantra is “Repeal & Replace” utterly ignoring the fact that “Federal Healthcare” is NOWHERE AUTHORIZED IN THE CONSTITUTION any more than the FDA, DEA, DHS, DOE / DOE or the vast majority of the alphabet soup agencies.  They ignore the FACT that agency rule making PRETENDING to have the force of law is also UNCONSTITUTIONAL.
It is time to “Repeal and Replace” the establishment parties.  60% of Americans now believe a NEW MAJOR PARTY IS NEEDED.

For quite some time Donald Trump has boasted that he’s been consistently against the Iraq War from day one — that he was against the Iraq War before being against the Iraq War was cool — that he was never for the war, a claim made as recently as last Sunday on Meet the Press.

Even more, sounding like the same Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi whose campaigns he funded, Trump said that the George W. Bush administration “lied” about Saddam Hussein having weapons of mass destruction in order to start the war.

However, new audio has surfaced from a 2002 interview with Howard Stern which shows that, like seemingly all other issues, Donald Trump has flip-flopped on his Iraq War stance as well.

Much like Obama Secretary of State John Kerry, Trump was for the Iraq War before he was against it.

The audio, discovered by Buzzfeed, shows Trump indicating on the one-year anniversary of 9/11, that he was for the war he now calls a mistake, but wishes that it would have been “done correctly” the first time, a reference to the first Iraq War under George H. W. Bush.

Stern asked Trump specifically if he was in favor of the invasion.

“Yeah, I guess so,” Trump answered. “I wish the first time it was done correctly.”

Maybe this is why Trump, after calling George W. Bush a “liar” during the latest GOP debate, followed up by saying he never called anyone a liar, then in his next interview, indicated that he wasn’t sure whether anyone was lying about it.

One thing we do now know as a lie — Donald Trump just got caught lying about his stance on the Iraq War. No wonder he shouts “liar liar” whenever anyone exposes his record — it’s to cover up his own lies.
