Crockett to raise issues in mayor race of local vs. globalist economy

David Crockett says he plans to run for mayor of Chattanooga and on Thursday picked up qualifying papers. The former three-term city council member is known for his efforts to organize and rally the people of Chattanooga through what was commonly called the “community visioning” process. By David Tulis / Noogaradio 1240 AM 101.1 FM According to a statement, “that led to his activist role in support of other early community planning initiatives across the city starting with Glenwood and including the Chattanooga Creek neighborhoods in South Chattanooga.” Mr. Crockett makes much of his role in “the rebirth of Chattanooga.”
