As many of you may know, Institute on the Constitution (IOTC) Founder, Michael Anthony Peroutka, ran for President in 2004 as the Constitution Party Candidate. It was his run that inspired the founding of IOTC.
The mission of the Constitution Party is to,
“to secure the blessings of liberty to ourselves and our posterity through the election, at all levels of government, of Constitution Party candidates who will uphold the principles of the Declaration of Independence, the Constitution of the United States, and the Bill of Rights. It is our goal to limit the federal government to its delegated, enumerated, Constitutional functions.” –www.constitutionparty.com
Recently, IOTC President Jake MacAulay was invited to speak, along with 2016 Constitution Party Candidate for Vice President, Scott Bradley, at a Constitution Party event in Wisconsin.
It was so encouraging to have my family join with this group of authentic, biblically-minded Constitution lovers. I am so grateful for their work and dedication to the founders original intent of Constitutionally limited government. – IOTC President Jake MacAulay
Jake and Scott also shared the stage with friend and ally, Pastor Matt Trewella, author of, The Doctrine of the Lesser Magistrates: A Proper Resistance to Tyranny and a Repudiation of Unlimited Obedience to Civil Government.
Jake and his family the following morning had the privilege to guest-preach at Trewella’s church, Mercy Seat Church, where over half of the congregation is under the age of 40. Jake preached on the Biblical duty of Christians to be salt and light and, “Preserve the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity.”
Institute on the Constitution (IOTC) is pleased and privileged to initiate and to support a national program promoting the American View of Law and Government in secondary schools and home schools across America. Under this program, American Clubs have been formed in schools and on University Campuses.
From Mike Warner your editor: the IOTC is the source for materials used by "American Clubs" across the nation to re-ignite the wonder of America's true historical, legal and philosophical foundations in the minds our a school age children. I host a monthly "American Clubs Coaching" seminar to showcase the IOTC materials to Montgomery County Tennessee, and surrounding areas. The IOTC is associated with Liberty Council which provides free legal support to insure your local school district does not violate the Constitution by prohibiting "American Clubs" in schools. Typically all that is required is a letter from them to successfully encourage schools, school boards, city councils, county commissions and legislators to reverse any negative decisions.
