Biblical illiteracy is growing in our churches. Only half of Christians can name all four gospels. And nearly half believe the Golden Rule is one of the Ten Commandments! People in our churches simply don’t know what the Bible teaches!

This explains, in part, why so many unbiblical beliefs are creeping into the church. So-called Christian books and leaders teach things that contradict Scripture, and many in the church just lap them up!

Parents, it is your God-given responsibility to teach your children God’s Word. We are to teach it to our kids when we sit, rise, walk, and lie down. In other words, all the time.

Don’t pass the job off to the church. Teach your kids God’s Word.
