Be careful how you walk, not as unwise men but as wise, making the most of your time, because the days are evil. Ephesians 5:15

According to the National Institute of Drug Abuse, “abuse of tobacco, alcohol, and illicit drugs cost our nation more than $740 billion annually in costs related to crime, lost work productivity and health care.”

And that doesn’t measure the lives, marriages, children, relationships, and even communities that are deeply harmed or lost. What’s more, drug use and alcohol abuse significantly burden law enforcement and the criminal justice system.

So what can be done to stem the incoming tide of these “substances of mass destruction”? What are the solutions that come from God’s word?

This Saturday, there will be a LIVE broadcast of The Christian Worldview from the Harvest Community Prayer Breakfast at the Fargo Holiday Inn in Fargo, North Dakota. We will hear from several guests, including Fargo Chief Police David Todd, state legislator, Kim Koppelman, and Jail Chaplains executive director Gerri Leach.

If you live in the vicinity of Fargo, you are invited to come to the broadcast and the Prayer Breakfast, where host David Wheaton will speak on Being an Overcomer.

Be sure to tune in this weekend for a special broadcast of The Christian Worldview!

if the watchman sees the sword coming and does not blow the trumpet, and the people are not warned, and the sword comes and takes any person from among them, he is taken away in his iniquity; but his blood I will require at the watchman’s hand.
