Middle Tennessee Weekly Construction Lane Closures, November 30-December 6, 2017

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Resurfacing on I-24 from SR 6 to the I-40 Westbound Ramps and Bridge Rehab on I-24 Over Spring Street and Oldham Street (M.M. 47 – 48)

  • Nightly, 8PM-5AM, There will be alternating lane closures on Spring Street and Oldham Street for the repair of curbs, slope pavement, and bent rubbing. One lane will remain open in each direction.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, The Improvement Of The Intersection On SR 1 (US 70S) At McCrory Lane & The CSX Railroad (L.M. 0.99)

  • Daily (excluding weekends) 9AM-3:30PM, There will be alternating lane closures for grading and storm drainage.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Resurfacing On SR 155 (Briley Pkwy) From The Bridge Over Two Rivers Pkwy (L.M. 10.08) To West Of The McGavock Pike Ramp (L.M. 12.18)

  • Nightly (excluding weekends), 8PM-5AM, There will be alternating lane closures on SR 155 in both directions for installation of shoulder stone. One lane will remain open at all times.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Grading, Drainage, Signals, & Paving on SR 41 From Vultee Blvd. To Jupiter Drive (L.M. 22.50-22.96)

  • Daily, 9AM-3PM, There will be a lane closure for widening of the median on Murfreesboro Pike. At least one lane will remain open.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Bridge Repair on SR 65 over the Earthman Fork Creek near Old Hickory Boulevard/Fontanel Mansion (L.M. 6.02 – 6.08)

  • From now through December 2017, There will be a lane closure on SR 65 for bridge work. The bridge traffic will be controlled by temporary traffic signals.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Resurfacing On SR 6 (US 31E) From Gallatin Pike (L.M. 16.49) Beginning At SR 155 (Briley Parkway) To SR 45 (Old Hickory Blvd.) (L.M. 18.57)

  • Daily, 9AM-3PM, There will be alternating shoulder closures in both direction on SR 6 (Gallatin Pike) beginning at SR 155 (Briley Parkway) & extending to SR 45 (Old Hickory Boulevard) for guardrail, ADA ramp repair, and permanent sign installation.

DICKSON/WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Construction On I-40 Eastbound Near (M.M. 180) For A Truck Climbing Lane

  • Nightly, 8PM-6AM, There will be a temporary lane closures on I-40 eastbound from MM 179-183 in order to set barrier rail.

MAURY COUNTY, The Construction Of A New Interchange On SR 166 (1st Avenue) At SR 6 (Lawrenceburg Highway) In Mount Pleasant (L.M. 8-9)

  • Daily (excluding Sundays) 7AM-3PM, There will be lane closure on SR 6 (Lawrenceburg Highway) for asphalt paving & blasting operations.

MAURY COUNTY, The Construction Of A Concrete Box Bridge On SR 6 (Nashville Highway) At The Intersection Of North Point Road In Columbia (L.M. 25.63)

  • Daily (excluding Sundays) 9AM-3PM, There will be a lane closure on SR 6 (Nashville Highway) for asphalt paving, striping, & permanent sign installation.

ROBERTSON COUNTY, Resurfacing Of I-65 From The Sumner County Line To South Of The Bridge Over Honey Run Creek

  • Nightly, 8PM-5AM, There will be a temporary lane closure on I-65 in both directions from MM 103-120 to perform striping and paving.

RUTHERFORD COUNTY, Construction of Turning Lanes on SR 96 at the I-24 Westbound Exit Ramp (Exit 78-B) (L.M. 9.52 – L.M. 9.68)

  • Daily, 9AM-3:30PM, There will be alternating lane closures on SR 96 in both directions between I-24 and N. Thompson Lane for milling, paving, grading and signal operations. Temporary stoppages will be needed for equipment crossings. 

RUTHERFORD COUNTY, Bridge Repair On SR 16 Over The Harpeth River (L.M. 1.71)

  • Daily, 8AM-4PM, There will be a road closures on SR 16 to set beams for phase 1. Traffic will have access to a signed detour route during the closure. All other traffic will be released between the setting of the beams.

SMITH COUNTY, Construction Of A Truck Climbing Lane On I-40 In Smith County

  • Nightly, 8PM-6AM, There will be an outside lane closure on I-40 eastbound at MM 251-253 for milling and paving of the outside shoulder for phase 1 traffic control. At least one lane will remain open.

SMITH COUNTY, Rockfall Mitigation on SR 25 (L.M. 8.5)

SUMNER COUNTY, Resurfacing SR 76 (Portland White House Rd.) Beginning at SR 25 & Extending To SR 109 (L.M. 3.91-10.34)

  • Daily, 9AM – 3PM and Nightly, 7:30PM-6AM, There will be a temporary lane closure on SR 386 for guardrail operations. One lane will remain open.

TROUSDALE COUNTY, Resurfacing SR 10 (US 231) Beginning At Wilson County Line & Extending To SR 25 (L.M. 0.00-6.24)

  • From now through Friday, December 1, 6AM-5PM, There will be a lane closure on SR 10 (US 231) for paving operations. One lane will remain open.

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Grading, Drainage, & Paving Work On SR 6 (Franklin Road) From South Of Moores Lane (L.M. 15.93) To Concord Road (L.M. 18.53)

  • Daily, 9AM-3PM, There will be alternating temporary lane closures &/or intermittent stoppages (one direction at a time) on SR 6 in both directions for the access to various sites. At least one lane will remain open at all times.

Monday, December 4 and Tuesday, December 5, 8PM-5AM, There will be moving lane closures on I-24 in both directions for street sweeping from MM 44-61. At least one lane will remain open at all times.

Tuesday December 5 and Wednesday December 6, 8PM-2AM, There will be moving lane closures on I-40 in both directions from MM 194-209 to clean the center wall. At least one lane will remain open at all times.

Wednesday, November 29, 8PM-5AM, There will be a lane closure on I-40 eastbound and I-65 eastbound at 2nd & 4th Avenue for graffiti removal.

GILES COUNTY

Daily, 8PM-6AM, There will be a right lane closure from MM 15-22 in both directions for milling & paving operations.

MONTGOMERY COUNTY

Sunday, December 3, 8PM-5AM, There will be a lane closure on SR 12 in both directions from LM 10-23 and SR 13 in both directions from LM 17-31 for street sweeping. At least one lane will remain open.

Sunday, December 3, 8PM-5AM, There will be a lane closure on 48 in both directions from LM 9-12 and SR 76 in both directions from LM 9-24 for street sweeping. At least one lane will remain open.

ROBERTSON COUNTY

Monday December 4 or Tuesday December 5, 9AM-3PM, There will be a right lane closure on I-65 at MM 119 to verify finished asphalt elevations.

RUTHERFORD COUNTY

Tuesday, December 5, 8PM-5AM, There will be a lane closure on I-840 in both directions for street sweeping. At least one lane will remain open at all times.

SUMNER COUNTY

From now through Wednesday, December 6, 9AM-3PM, There will be alternating lane closures on SR 174 at the intersection of Big Station Camp Road/Carrellton Drive for installation of signals and mast arms. At least one lane will remain open in each direction.

WILLIAMSON COUNTY

Thursday, November 30, 8PM-5AM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-65 in both directions from MM 60-71 for sweeping. At least one lane will remain open at all times.

Monday, December 4 and Tuesday, December 5, 8PM-5AM, There will be a lane closure on I-840 from MM 19-20 in both directions for milling and paving work. At least one lane will remain open at all times.

Thursday, November 30, 8PM-5AM, There will be a lane closure on SR 106 in both directions from LM 17-23 and SR 441 from LM 0-3.5 for street sweeping. At least one lane will remain open.

Thursday, November 30, 8PM-5AM, There will be a lane closure on SR 96 in both directions from LM 10-15 for street sweeping. At least one lane will remain open.
