Jesus was born to die. To abbreviate Hebrews 2:7, Jesus had to be made like His brethren in all things … to make propitiation for the sins of the people.

In the hustle and bustle of Christmas, let’s not forget that baby Jesus in the wooden trough was the beginning of His march to the wooden cross.
